Sodexo takes care of catering in the Tour de France with the aim to move towards an increasingly responsible model:
Food:
- Respecting seasonal cycles and the choice and origins of products
- Choice of short circuits whenever possible
- Promotion of local producers.
E.Leclerc offers organic products: French PGIs and DOPs/DOCs from biodynamic agriculture in guest areas.
Sodexo works with certification labels that guarantee food traceability and quality.
- More vegetables on menus
- Actions undertaken for several editions with Sodexo to curb food waste.
Containers:
More environmentally friendly containers:
- Cardboard "made in Île-de-France", wood, bamboo leaves, kraft paper, sugarcane pulp, recycled paper… All in all, the cream of the crop of materials to offer 500 ultra-green tray meals every day and much more. Not to mention a huge serving of shared happiness and sporting fun!"
