Marianne Vos (Team Visma | Lease a Bike): “I don’t know if there were many images of me struggling and trying to fight back, but I struggled quite a bit. It’s a hard week definitely. Already the first three flat stages were very fast and you have to be attentive. Today I had a teammate with me in the break and I want to take points for the green jersey and we did that, then I was just trying to survive until the finish. From the first Tour [2022] I have those good memories and now it is another tough weekend coming up. Firstly we recover a bit from today and then we get ready for the final two stages.”
