2024 Edition
The history
This is the first French women's team born out of a professional men's team, Arkéa–Samsic. It was launched in 2020 and based on US Vern, a club from Ille-et-Vilaine, from which four of the ten riders in the original squad came. Jean-Christophe Moussard's crew has kept its Breton roots, with budding French talents such as Maëva Squiban, who claimed a stage in the Vuelta a Extremadura Féminas last year, and Titia Ryo, the 2022 French Junior champion, but almost half the current roster consists of international riders. Its winter signings, the multiple-time Swedish champion Emilia Fahlin, the Belgian Lotte Claes (ninth in the Alpes Grésivaudan Classic) and the Australian Michaela Drummond (winner of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour), were its top-placed riders in the UCI ranking as of early June.
