SUEZ RENEWS ITS TIES WITH THE TOUR DE FRANCE FEMMES AVEC ZWIFT

Following the success of its inaugural partnership in 2023, SUEZ has extended its commitment to the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for a further three years. For the third edition of the race, set to take place from 12 to 18 August 2024, SUEZ will once again deploy its drinking water distribution services and optimised waste management solutions. By contributing to the ecological transition of the competition, the Group bolsters its position as a supporter of elite women's cycling.

SUEZ takes care of the connection of start and finish sites for all eight stages to the mains water supply, the installation of water fountains for riders, members of the organisation team, guests, media and spectators, and the distribution of eco-designed water bottles and reusable cups. Building on the success of its initial rollout in 2023, this arrangement has been renewed to further advance waste reduction efforts and raise awareness about drinking water consumption.   Furthermore, SUEZ provides the public with educational information on water access points and water quality through its MonEau app. The Group also spreads fun messages about resource conservation and proper waste sorting practices in Fan Zones, along the race route —through its publicity caravan— and on social media.   These initiatives are fully in line with the sustainable development strategy of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, which aims to mitigate the environmental footprint of this popular event and promote cycling as a means of transport through its "Riding into the Future" programme.

Sabrina Soussan, Chairman and CEO, SUEZ: "We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for another three years, supporting the ecological transition of this iconic race. This partnership complements SUEZ's commitment to the FDJ–Suez team, one of the leading teams in the elite international peloton, since 2022. SUEZ beats the drum for the values of sport: pursuing shared goals, pushing the boundaries and team spirit.".

Marion Rousse, Director of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift: "The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift faces significant challenges to complete the ecological transition. Thanks to SUEZ, we can put in place an ideal solution that makes a big contribution to the event's commitments in terms of sustainable development. We are thrilled to be able to continue our efforts by extending our partnership with SUEZ for another three exciting years."
