Loes Adegeest (FDJ-Suez): “It was a hard stage with attacks from the start. I tried to be in the break from the start. Already a few [riders] went solo and no-one joined. With 80km to go I went solo again after the QOM and I kept a good pace, because I thought, " well you’re almost half way and maybe there is a better chance now.” Luckily two riders joined me and we worked well together. But I could feel that I had already done quite a lot so I had to play it a bit smart. Luckily they went on the outside of the roundabout in the last 5km and that was the chance I needed to go for the win solo. Then I looked around and saw the group arriving and it was really hard.”
