The short and intense 6.3km time trial on Stage 3 of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift should suit the most powerful riders in the peloton.
After taking on the challenge of Stage 2 in the morning of the second day of action at the race, the riders need to recover quickly and compose themselves for this crucial ITT in front of the Dutch fans on the streets of Rotterdam.
The only slight climbs on the Stage 3 time trial course will be the two major bridges, Erasme and Guillaume. There are a few rightangled bends as the course passes the town hall and the maritime museum, but it’s mainly on big boulevards and the winner could average close to 50km/h.
The challengers for the stage win may include the likes of Grace Brown (FDJ-Suez), Anna Henderson (Visma | Lease a Bike), Riejanne Markus (Visma | Lease a Bike), Demi Vollering (SD-Worx Protime) and Juliette Labous (Team dsm-fermenich PostNL).
