Shirin van Anrooij: "I felt pretty good but it was a really hard stage with a lot of climbing. I tried to find my own pace but I had no idea where I was in the race, I didn’t know if I was 20th, 50th, or something else, so I just tried to keep pushing until the finish line. I tried to be up front ahead of Petit Ballon but for the first time in my life, I had cramps, at the beginning of the climb. Then I found a group which was really nice to go over the Platzerwasel and to ride on the valley, and then I found my pace again for the final climb. It means a lot to wear this jersey. I tried to work as much as possible for the team in the first six days and today I had the chance to go for the white jersey. Tomorrow will be another day of suffering! But I’m looking forward to it. La Super Planche des Belles Filles is a very hard climb but there will be so many people I think we will be over the mountains before we know."
