MIXED FORTUNES FOR SD WORX-PROTIME
While Vas was claiming her first Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift victory, Demi Vollering was caught in a crash 6.5km from the link. She was doing 46.6km/h when she hit the deck. She averaged 38.7km/h as she raced to the line to minimize her loses.
3RD WIN OUTSIDE HUNGARY
Blanka Vas is at her 11th professional win, just the 3rd that is not a National Championship, after the 1st stage of Tour de Suisse and the 8th of Giro d’Italia last year.
BREAKING THE STREAK
The win of Blanka Vas broke a streak of 4 Dutch stage wins. This was also the first stage without Dutch riders in the top-3 since stage 5 last year, when the finish order was: Ricarda Bauernfeind (Germany), Marlen Reusser (Switzerland), Liane Lippert (Germany).

Katarzyna Niewiadoma is still chasing her first win at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Her top-3 results so far are: 3rd in Provins, 2022; 2nd at the Tourmalet last year; 3rd in Liège yesterday; 2nd today in Amnéville.

7TH WIN FOR SD WORX-PROTIME
Team SD Worx - Protime won their second stage in this edition, the 7th overall since 2022. They are the most successful at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift ahead of Movistar Team and Team dsm-firmenich PostNL (4).
UNDER-23
The winners of the last two stages, Puck Pieterse and Blanka Vas are both 22 years old, and for the first time at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift two “Under-23s” post back-to-back wins.
PIETERSE KEEPS THE POLKA DOT JERSEY
Puck Pieterse (Fenix-Deceuninck) retains the polka dot jersey. She claimed victory atop the Côte de Saint-Pancré and averaged 23.8km/h across the final 4 climbs of the day.
THE MAIN BREAKAWAY
It was an aggressive stage, with several short-lived breakaways. Loes Adegeest initiated the biggest move eventually staying away for 72km with an average speed of 39.9km/h, earning her the Teisseire Combativity award.
FROM ONE GRAND TOUR TO ANOTHER
The last time Katarzyna Niewiadoma was leader of a stage race had been in the Giro d’Italia, 5 years ago. She led from stage 1 to stage 4 the 2019 edition.
